Got a clever science joke?
Whether it makes your audience laugh or groan, we want to hear it! It might be funny enough to win the grand prize.
Prize? What prize?
A 30-minute Zoom interview with Sanford Lab astrophysicist Mark Hanhardt! Chat with Mark about his research, his past life as a radio disc jockey, the symphony of the universe and his underground lair (spoiler alert, it’s just his office on the 4850 Level). You can also ask him about the science at Sanford Lab, as he works with a variety of particle physicists, biologists, geologists and engineers every day!
Cool. How do I enter?
Throughout the week of July 6 through July 10, post your favorite science joke to Facebook or Twitter. Use the hashtag #badsciencejokes and tag @sanfordlab to be entered into the competition. And keep them clean, as any inappropriate jokes will be eliminated.
Don't have social media? Submit your joke here!
On Friday, July 10, Mark Hanhardt and Brian Malow will share their favorites and select a winner at the Bad Science Jokes Faceoff!
