SNOLAB Research Scientist
Dr. Erica Caden has always been curious about how the world works. She earned her PhD in 2013 from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, working on the neutrino oscillation experiment Double Chooz. She then moved to Sudbury, Ontario to work on the SNO+ experiment, and has since made Canada her home. Dr. Caden is now a Research Scientist at SNOLAB, Canada's underground astroparticle physics laboratory and an adjunct professor at Laurentian University. She works on the SNO+, nEXO and HALO projects at SNOLAB. Dr. Caden is also passionate about science communication, and expressing complex ideas through artistic endeavors.
